• PEMEX (Petróleos Mexicanos), is the company in charge of the extraction, distribution and commercialization of petroleum.
• The most important fields are located in the coastal plains and the continental shelf of the Mexican Gulf, running from Tamaulipas to Campeche.
• The petroleum is the raw material used in diverse industries, like the fertilize industry, fibers and synthetic products, tires, beauty products, lotions, cleaning products and paints, among others.

10.1 Make a summary about  the suptopic "LAWS AND ACTIONS TO PROTECT THE ENVIROMENT AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN MEXICO" using the page 207 and 208 and write the actions that have been undertaking by the government..


10.2 From the last suptopic from page 207 and 208 or use the internet if is necessary and  extract the following:
a) Make a list of the different programs mentioned and its objectives. Ex. PRONARE, SEMARNAT, etc.
b) Mention the proposals related to the environment education.
c)Describe the objectives of PRONARE and which the actions are.
